What is the best thing about Christmas?
Christmas is one of the biggest holidays/traditions celebrated in most countries. However, there are many traditions that root to different nations and cultures. For this reason, we have asked our panel members what they consider as the best and most important thing about Christmas.

Christmas can mean several things to a person. It can be time off work, good food, or simply relaxation at home. This is how our panellists from the Nordic countries and Ireland responded.
All countries were nearly unanimous in their answers. 53%-59% of each panel, apart from Finland, think that spending time with family and friends is the best thing about Christmas. In Finland, the corresponding figure is 37%. In Finland, second most important thing about Christmas is food, since 31% chose this answer. In the rest of the countries, food is also on the second place, however it is 13-16% of the respondents that answered this way. The Finns must really like their Christmas cuisine.
Perhaps as a slight surprise, 6-9% out of all panels say that they do not like Christmas. This was the third most popular answer in this quick poll, although an equal amount of the Irish and Swedish respondents put decorations forward as the best aspect of Christmas. Rest of the options received support from less than 5% of the respondents. The only variation was in the Irish panel, where 6% responded that religion is important at Christmas time.
Userneeds wishes our panellists a very joyful pre- Christmas time!
