Spring is here …

… And that means the trees and flowers start to bloom, which according to the majority of our panel members is the best thing about the spring.

There are many good things to be said about the spring. Especially for our Nordic panel members who quite often experience a long winter. In one of Userneeds' quick polls we have asked our panel members what the best thing about spring is and we gave them the following options:

"It's the time for falling in love"

"You get to put away your big winter coat"

"The trees and flowers start to bloom"

"The days become longer"

"Other"

"Don't know"

In Denmark, Sweden and Norway between 44 and 54 percent choose "The trees and flowers start to bloom" and the second most popular option for the same three countries is "The days become longer". In Finland and Ireland it is the exact opposite and 51 percent of our Finnish members and 54 percent of our Irish members thus say that their favorite part about spring is the fact that the days become longer. Respectively 33 and 38 percent have chosen what is then the second most popular option for the two: "The trees and flowers start to bloom".

Hereafter, our panel members all agree that getting to put away your big winter coat is another good thing about spring. The Norwegians seem to like this part a bit more than the rest though as 10 percent have chosen this option, which is three times as many as in Denmark. Not many believe the best part about spring is falling in love but perhaps our panel members are fortunate enough to already be in love.
