Personal information

I've got a new e-mail address - how do I change it in the panel?
If you have a new e-mail address please write to us on info@userneeds.ie so we can change it for you. It is important that you provide your old e-mail address in the e-mail, as we will need this to amend the information.

I no longer wish to be part of the panel - how do I pull out?
If you no longer want to be a panel member with Userneeds you can easily pull out. Simply click on the withdraw link at the bottom of all our invitation e-mails. When you click on the link you will receive an e-mail where, with the help of a new link, you confirm that you wish to be removed from the Irish panel.

How safe is my personal data?
As a member of the panel your answers are always 100% anonymous. Userneeds will not capture and apply personal data to follow your internet behaviour or forward it to a third party. The main reason we ask you personal questions about e.g. your gender, your birthday or the year you were born is to enable us to contact you with surveys that are most relevant to you.

Why should I answer questions about where I live, my gender and my birthday?
Questions about where you live, your gender and your age are used to select the most relevant surveys for you. For some studies, we need to use a certain group of people, and will therefore ask you these questions to get an insight into which group you belong to.

Why should I complete the same questions about my gender and my age several times?
As some of our members have joined our panel with a shared e-mail address, it might be necessary to ask you for this information to ensure that the right panel member is part of the desired target group. We are aware that this means that you might be asked to enter your personal details several times, which can of course be a little tedious.

Question not answered?
If you did not get the answers you were looking for, please write to us on info@userneeds.ie. Please send the relevant invitation e-mail if you have a problem with a survey. A screenshot or similar can often help us find the cause of the problem so that we can help you quickly.
